Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant role is onsite in Irvine, CA, Monday through Friday, with base pay of $80,000–$140,000 per year. Eggs Unlimited supplies eggs to retail and food manufacturing companies and works across the egg industry’s farming, purchasing, freight, and logistics activities. The accountant supports accurate financial reporting and accounting operations through close processes, audits, cost analysis, reconciliations, and internal controls. The role also works with operations, supply chain, finance, and subsidiary teams on process improvements and financial initiatives.

What you'll do

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• coordinate external audits
• conduct cost analysis and support product costing
• reconcile accounts
• prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and variance analyses
• improve financial procedures
• maintain internal controls and compliance
• collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance
• support ERP enhancements, automation, reporting improvements, and subsidiary accounting.
