What you'll do

• Bill Medicare, managed care, medical, coinsurance, and share-of-cost accounts
• set up new-admission records for accurate billing
• review billing documentation and claims
• submit claims to Medicare and insurance plans
• follow up with insurers on coinsurance claims
• review payments and appeal incorrect payments
• prepare Provider Dispute Resolutions
• comply with CMS requirements
• prepare management reports
• research account discrepancies
• audit daily census and update payer changes
• coordinate with business office staff and attend facility and corporate meetings.
