Junior Estimator, Commercial Building Restoration

The Junior Estimator, Commercial Building Restoration role is onsite in Boston, MA, with work between the office and active field sites. Compensation is $85,000–$100,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus. The role supports Building Restoration Services’ commercial building-envelope and restoration projects across the I-495 belt. This position develops accurate, competitive bid packages and executable scopes for restoration work. It contributes to project planning and business growth through cost analysis, field investigations, vendor coordination, and handoff of bid assumptions to project teams.

What you'll do

• Analyze contract documents, specifications, addenda, and consultant reports to establish project scopes
• conduct required field investigations
• estimate labor, materials, equipment, and access costs
• plan costs for scaffolding, swing stages, mast climbers, and aerial lifts
• assist with vendor and subcontractor bid evaluation
• prepare proposals with inclusions, exclusions, and value-engineering alternatives
• attend project turnover meetings.
