The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. This role involves collaboration with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring adherence to age and population-specific standards.

What you'll do

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population specific standards.
• Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate care, perform resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform various other nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Experience

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license.
