The Pharmacy Technician – Relief/Per Diem role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA, with compensation of $37.10–$41.49 per hour. Under close pharmacist supervision, the technician enters medication orders, operates automated equipment, maintains inventory, and prepares patient-specific sterile and non-sterile products. Accurate preparation, storage, and documentation support reliable pharmacy operations and patient care.

What you'll do

• Enter patient medication orders into the pharmacy computer system
• operate automated compounding and dispensing machines under direct pharmacist supervision
• maintain medication inventory and place and receive stock orders
• prepare, compound, and label intravenous admixtures, cancer chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition doses using strict aseptic technique
• prepare, package, compound, and label non-sterile patient-specific drug products subject to final pharmacist checks.
