• obtain prior authorizations and verify coverage
• manage surgical paperwork, operative reports, and medical records
• schedule appointments, answer phones, and document in EHR systems
• explain pre- and post-operative instructions
• confirm scheduling and documentation with hospitals and surgery centers.
