- Primarily performs diagnostic tests such as spirometry, diffusion testing, lung volumes, and airway resistance. - May administer respiratory therapies and educate patients on medication and equipment use. - Calibrates, cleans, and maintains diagnostic equipment. - Prepared to respond during emergencies, including performing CPR.
