Cardiac Diagnostic Technician (EKG & Echo)

The Cardiac Diagnostic Technician (EKG & Echo) role is onsite in Utica, NY, with a full-time schedule of five days per week; compensation is $35 per echocardiogram, $35 per Doppler, and $5 per EKG. Infinite Medical P.C. and MedElite support care for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The technician performs echocardiograms, EKGs, and other non-invasive cardiac tests to support diagnosis, monitoring, and management of cardiovascular conditions in a geriatric population. The role also prepares and monitors patients, documents and submits studies, maintains equipment, and collaborates with clinicians and nursing staff.

What you'll do

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, EKGs, rhythm strips, and other non-invasive cardiac tests
• obtain diagnostic images
• prepare and monitor patients
• document findings and submit studies
• maintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment
• follow HIPAA, infection-control, and facility policies
• collaborate with clinicians and nursing staff
• travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assigned.
