Business Office Manager, Long-Term Care

The Business Office Manager, Long-Term Care role is onsite in Overland Park, KS, with pay of $21 per hour. The position supports the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of Fairways of Ironhorse’s long-term care operation. The manager maintains financial, payroll, resident, and employee records and supports the Executive Director with facility administration. Accurate billing, accounts payable, payroll, and compliance documentation help the facility operate reliably and serve residents and families.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day accounting and administrative functions
• perform eligibility verification
• attend admission and department-head meetings
• complete lease and financial paperwork
• maintain accounts receivable records and review census, cash, ancillaries, adjustments, and dashboards
• process accounts payable and payroll
• track employee ETO hours
• maintain employee and resident billing files
• process workers’ compensation paperwork and track FMLA absences
• maintain resident fund accounts and complete monthly closing.

Why this role

A bachelor’s or associate degree in business, accounting, or a related area is preferred. At least three years of business office experience is required; property management experience is preferred. Work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays may be necessary.
