Travel Directional Drill Operator

The Travel Directional Drill Operator is an onsite role based in Florence, MT. Compensation is $24.00 per hour, and this position supports the wireline team in delivering technology infrastructure solutions. This role exists to provide outside plant installation support on various utility construction project sites. It contributes to the team by operating heavy equipment, assisting with jobsite setup, and ensuring adherence to safety and production standards.

What you'll do

• Performs manual labor including hand digging and installing utilities.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks.
• Operates heavy equipment such as directional drills and mini excavators.
• Learns the 811 locate process and assists with utility locating.
• Provides training and support to entry-level laborers.
