- interpret diagnostic data
- communicate with patients’ families about status, prognosis, and goals of care
- participate in rapid response and code teams as required
- provide nighttime, weekend, and on-call coverage per service needs
- supervise and educate clinical staff as applicable
- document care
- participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- comply with regulatory and professional standards.
