Landscape Construction Team Member

Job overview

The Landscape Construction Team Member role is onsite in Newport, NC. Pay is $18–$22 per hour. Wood Lawn & Landscaping’s Landscape Construction Team builds residential and commercial outdoor improvements. Working as part of a crew, the team member assists with installations and develops skills in excavation, grading, drainage, hardscaping, planting, irrigation, outdoor lighting, and equipment operation. The role contributes to completed landscape projects while offering training and opportunities to advance as skills and leadership develop.

What you'll do

• Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, planting beds, sod, irrigation, outdoor lighting, and other landscape improvements
• perform excavation, grading, soil preparation, material installation, and jobsite cleanup
• learn safe equipment operation
• maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• communicate with crew leaders and care for company tools, vehicles, and materials.
