The Line Cook role is onsite in Schaumburg, Illinois. Pay is $15–$24 per hour. The position supports Wildfire, a supper-club-style restaurant within the Lettuce Entertain You group of restaurants. Line cooks prepare, produce, and present menu items while maintaining food safety, quality, and service standards. They follow recipes and special requests, manage station quantities, communicate delays and issues, and coordinate with management and service staff to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and special requests
• follow portioning controls and par levels
• maintain food safety and quality
• monitor menu-item counts and communicate low quantities
• account for items leaving the station
• follow allergy and special-order procedures
• comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
• communicate food delays or issues to the coordinator.
