Speech Therapist, Home and Community-Based

The Speech Therapist role is based in Elizabeth, NJ, and provides in-home and community-based services statewide. Compensation is $72–$78 per hour. Beyond Home Health Care is a New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities-approved provider serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The therapist evaluates and treats communication, language, articulation, social communication, AAC, and swallowing needs. The role develops person-centered plans, delivers individual therapy, documents outcomes, and works with families, caregivers, and support coordinators to reinforce goals across settings.

What you'll do

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans aligned with each participant’s Individualized Service Plan and person-centered goals
• deliver one-on-one therapy in homes and community settings
• document sessions, progress, and outcomes within required timeframes
• collaborate with support coordinators, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
• provide caregiver training and home programs
• follow DDD policies and HIPAA standards
• maintain billing records and complete required DDD training.
