What you'll do

• Prepare food according to menus and standardized recipes under the food services director
• portion and serve meals at specified times
• follow safety and sanitation standards
• clean and store dishes, utensils, equipment, kitchen, and food storage areas
• label and date stored food
• oversee proper food handling and utilization to prevent contamination, maintain quality, and reduce cost
• respond to dining-room concerns
• and suggest menu or recipe changes to use leftovers and supplies.
