Extended Care Attendant – Per Diem Overnight

Job overview

The Extended Care Attendant – Per Diem Overnight role is onsite in Old Orchard Beach, ME, and pays $20 per hour plus applicable shift differentials. The overnight shift runs 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, with an open Wednesday shift and opportunities to pick up other shifts. Milestone Recovery supports people experiencing homelessness, substance use, and behavioral health disorders. The attendant supports the care and well-being of Extended Care clients through hourly checks, supportive conversations, safety monitoring, and arranging transportation to emergency services when needed.

What you'll do

• Follow program policies and procedures
• remain awake and alert throughout the shift
• conduct hourly room checks and supportive conversations
• check the area around the main building at least twice nightly
• clean the staff and visitor bathroom and perform light cleaning
• arrange emergency transportation
• protect client confidentiality
• attend required training and meetings.

Why this role
