The Kitchen Staff / Cook works onsite in Atlantic City, NJ, for $17–$18 per hour, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Adventures in Learning’s cook supports daily meal operations at its preschool and early learning center. The role prepares meals and snacks, helps plan menus, tracks supplies, and maintains a clean, compliant kitchen. It also provides basic assistance to children and staff as needed, following center policies, allergy protocols, and state licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Prepare lunch, snacks, and dinner for multiple classrooms according to menus and portions
• assist with monthly menu planning
• track food and cleaning supplies and notify leadership when items need reordering
• maintain a sanitary kitchen and follow food safety protocols
• wash and fold center laundry
• assist staff with child-related tasks as needed, including bathroom escorts, diaper changes after training, and brief supervision
• follow licensing regulations, allergy protocols, and center policies.
