Estimating Coordinator - Construction - Onsite

The Estimating Coordinator supports the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects. This is an onsite role based in Irvine, CA, with a salary range of $60,000–$95,000 per year. Shimmick is a dynamic infrastructure builder with over 100 years of expertise in water resources and sustainable transportation. This role exists to support the overall estimating process to ensure timely and efficient bid submissions. The Estimating Coordinator contributes by organizing bid documents, coordinating subcontractor and supplier proposals, and managing bid schedules.

What you'll do

• Collect, review, and distribute bid documents.
• Assist in preparing and submitting bid proposals.
• Organize, format, and maintain all bid documentation.
• Distribute bid invitations and project documents.
• Coordinate with the estimating team, project managers, safety, and legal departments.
• Track and monitor opportunities on procurement portals.
• Manage Good Faith Effort requirements.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's Degree.

Experience

Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education; previous experience in construction administration, coordination, or similar.
