Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in San Jose, CA, and pays $18–$20 per hour. The position supports residents at Westwood Post-Acute, a long-term care facility focused on resident health and wellness. The caregiver provides hands-on assistance and monitoring under licensed healthcare professionals’ direction, helping residents maintain safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being while documenting care and following facility policies and infection-control procedures.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, hygiene, dressing, and other daily activities
• support walking, transfers, stairs, and other mobility
• monitor health and take vital signs under licensed staff direction
• assist with medication administration as permitted
• document care and changes in condition and report concerns
• participate in care discussions
• safeguard belongings and maintain a safe environment
• follow safety, sanitation, hand-hygiene, isolation, and PPE procedures
• participate in required orientation and training.
