What you'll do

• Assist the CFO with budget-monitoring procedures and support for agency departments
• supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger staff
• help maintain accounting systems in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• advise management on accounting matters and reports
• develop internal controls
• maintain and test general ledger reconciliations
• assist with cash management
• coordinate assigned strategic projects
• serve as a financial liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• evaluate financial performance, risks, and opportunities
• support financial analysis of programs, contracts, grants, partnerships, and investments.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent relevant training and at least 10 years of broad financial accounting systems experience, including three years supervising accounting functions or administrative operations. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
