What you'll do

• Establish food service regulations, procedures, and standards
• plan menus and standardized recipes
• inspect work, storage, and serving areas
• develop sanitation and recordkeeping procedures
• determine food and supply orders
• review menus, nutrient analysis, and food costs
• manage departmental goals and budgeted expenses
• coordinate staff and other departments
• participate in inspections and quality improvement
• ensure meals are palatable, well-presented, and served at proper temperatures.
