The Tech Lead, Payroll Integrations and Workforce Management role is based at Harri’s New York, NY office. The base salary range is $150,000–$170,000 per year. Harri builds workforce management technology for the hospitality industry. The tech lead owns the strategy, architecture, and end-to-end data flow connecting Harri’s workforce management and HR platforms with payroll systems. The role works across product, engineering, providers, and enterprise customers to deliver reliable integrations for frontline businesses.

What you'll do

• Own the payroll and HCM integration strategy, roadmap, and architecture across APIs and file-based methods
• ensure accurate transfer of employee, job, pay, time, and payroll correction data
• partner with Engineering and Product on APIs, mappings, specifications, testing, and reconciliation
• manage payroll provider relationships and integrations
• support enterprise customer requirements and escalations
• establish reliability, monitoring, data integrity, and incident-management standards
• identify payroll automation opportunities.

Why this role

Requires 10+ years of experience in payroll, HCM, WFM, HR technology, or enterprise SaaS; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; and hands-on payroll integration and architecture experience. Hospitality or high-volume hourly workforce experience is strongly preferred.
