The Community Health Worker (Promotora) role is onsite in San Jose, CA, for 15 hours per week, with pay of $27.06 per hour. What you'll do

• Conduct presentations and attend community events
• share culturally and linguistically relevant information about rights, resources, and support services
• distribute prevention materials
• build community relationships
• support survivors in accessing services
• occasionally co-facilitate support circles, workshops, or peer spaces
• support survivor leadership through mentorship and advocacy training
• help organize community campaigns and healing events
• document services and referrals
• and participate in supervision, meetings, and training.
