The Licensed Barber Youth Development Professional role is onsite in Jacksonville, Florida. Pay is $19 per hour. The position supports youth programs at the Citi Teen Center for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The role uses barber instruction and youth-development programming to introduce young people to barbering careers and support their educational, career, social, physical, and emotional development. It helps create a safe, structured Club experience through instruction, guidance, and supervised activities.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement barber programs
• teach barber theories, techniques, safety, and client-building
• recruit and retain youth participants
• work with Club staff to deliver programs
• provide guidance and role modeling
• supervise members and maintain a safe, clean program area
• track supplies
• prepare weekly reports and maintain daily schedules.
