Electronic Lab Technician

Job overview

The Electronic Lab Technician role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. The role works with engineers, scientists, and product managers on electronic systems and components. The technician leads complex design, research, testing, and troubleshooting work while providing technical guidance to junior lab technicians. The role contributes to reliable electronic products and solutions through experimentation, test development, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree in electrical, electronics, or a related technical field and at least six years of laboratory or technical experience focused on electronic design and testing. Requires expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation software, analog and digital circuits, and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. Bachelor's or master's degree, advanced certification, RF/EMC/environmental testing, IPC/FCC standards, and Verilog/VHDL are preferred.
