What you'll do

• Works under the supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services/Asst.
• Director/and or Supervising Clinical Laboratory Scientists.
• Performs venipunctures on adults and pediatrics and micro collections on infants.
• Participates in data entry, specimen processing and communicates with clients to help resolve specimen concerns as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.

Experience

Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and medical/laboratory terminology required. Two year acute care hospital laboratory experience preferred. One to two (1-2) years experience assisting in performing laboratory assays preferred.
