Youth Resource Center Weekend Staff - Winter Position

Job overview

The Youth Resource Center Weekend Staff - Winter Position is onsite in Manchester, NH. Pay is $21–$22 per hour. Waypoint is expanding daytime access to its Youth Resource Center during colder winter months for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability. The role helps keep the center safe, welcoming, and open on weekends, connecting young people with basic needs and resources while supporting their steps toward greater stability. Staff work collaboratively with outreach workers, case managers, housing staff, and the YRC team.

What you'll do

• Welcome youth into a safe, inclusive, and accessible space
• build positive relationships using trauma-informed care and positive youth development
• help youth access housing, health, education, employment, and basic-needs resources
• support a calm environment
• assist with opening, closing, and daily operations
• collaborate with the YRC team
• recognize opportunities to connect youth with additional support.
