Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers in Denver, CO. This is a 100% remote position requiring candidates to reside within the U.S., with a preference for those aligned with the Mountain Time Zone. The pay range is $73,450.00 - $132,775.00 per year. Leidos is seeking Senior & Lead Transmission Line Engineers to join a dynamic team focused on electric transmission challenges. This role involves designing high-voltage transmission line projects for major utilities, applying industry standards, and preparing project documentation.

What you'll do

• Serve as Engineers on electric transmission line design projects for high-voltage (HV) and extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead and underground systems.
• Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead and underground systems, voltage conversion projects, new capacity projects, and infrastructure replacement projects.
• Perform engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, draft plans and specifications, and prepare material procurement and construction documents.
• Work with a multi-person Leidos team and interface with clients, project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management personnel.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

4+ years (Mid-Senior), 8+ years (Lead)
