What you'll do

• Direct nursing assistants’ day-to-day functions and provide shift leadership
• plan shift services with assigned staff
• complete admission, transfer, and discharge records
• transcribe physician telephone orders and document nursing care
• administer medications as ordered
• coordinate with facility departments and make physician rounds as necessary
• perform nursing services such as catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing changes, blood draws, and IV and IV-site care as needed
• monitor staff compliance with safety practices
• maintain confidentiality of resident information.
