The Assistant Manager, Retail Operations role is onsite in Maquoketa, IA, with compensation of $17.10–$18.68 per hour. Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa’s retail and operations teams manage donated goods from collection through production and sales. The role supports smooth, safe, and effective store or operations performance by supervising and developing staff, coordinating daily work, and helping meet service and sales goals. It also covers for the Store or Operations Manager when needed.

What you'll do

• Directly supervise Sales Associates, Utility Workers, Team Leads, ADC Attendants, and Production Workers
• delegate work, coach staff, and provide training
• evaluate performance and take corrective action when needed
• support merchandise quality and production output
• handle cash register processes, money, paperwork, and deposits
• maintain store or warehouse condition and safety
• review sales and production data
• serve as an emergency contact outside regular business hours
• operate a forklift
• may travel to other retail locations when covering for a manager.
