The Porter role is onsite in Hayward, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Pay is $26.40 per hour. The role supports Canteen’s food-service operations, which provide workplace markets, coffee, snacks, unattended retail, and culinary services. The porter maintains clean and sanitary front-of-house and kitchen areas, helping keep service flowing safely. The role also supports dishwashing, delivery receiving, and food presentation and sanitation standards.

What you'll do

• Bus, clear, and clean tables
• sweep floors during peak service and prepare areas before service
• transport dishes and utensils safely to the kitchen
• wash dishes, glasses, and pots by hand or machine
• clean cooking stations and equipment
• keep display equipment clean and compliant with safety and sanitation standards
• receive heavy deliveries and move them to storage areas using safe lifting practices
• follow HACCP standards and company safety policies.
