Kitchen Systems and Equipment Technician

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, food-preparation and warewashing equipment
• inspect equipment and recommend corrective actions
• coordinate parts and technical documentation
• work with manufacturers, suppliers and vendors
• test equipment after repairs
• maintain maintenance records and work orders
• follow manufacturer specifications, safety requirements and applicable codes
• respond to critical equipment failures as needed
• and coordinate with facility managers, food-service personnel and maintenance teams.
