The Registered Nurse — ICU Unit (Burn Center) role is onsite at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, and pays $50 per hour, plus differentials and $5.09 per hour in health and welfare. CentralCare provides contractor nursing services supporting military members and their families. What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age-specific critical care
• document patient care and progress
• monitor patients and administer medications and prescribed treatments
• manage hemodynamic monitoring and life-support equipment
• communicate with physicians and charge nurses
• educate patients and families
• provide professional oversight to licensed practical nurses and ancillary personnel
• follow infection-control and quality-assurance procedures.

Why this role

Requires an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program, current unrestricted registered nurse licensure, BLS and ALS certifications, and at least two years of ICU experience. Work hours are 0700–1900 or 1900–0700, Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays.
