Structures Mechanic

Job overview

The Structures Mechanic role is onsite in Topeka, KS. Pay is $29–$41 per hour. The mechanic supports aircraft modification programs by completing structural repairs, modifications, and installations in accordance with approved engineering data and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform aircraft structural modifications and installations
• fabricate, fit, drill, assemble, and install structural components using approved drawings
• follow STC drawings, engineering orders, and technical documentation
• comply with FAA regulations and quality standards
• follow inspection buy-back processes
• use aircraft maintenance publications
• document completed work
• support inspection and quality assurance
• and maintain tool accountability and a safe work area.
