Material Handler — Sheet Metal Fabrication

The Material Handler role is an onsite, full-time position in Wood Dale, IL. Compensation is not specified. FabMax’s sheet metal fabrication operations rely on this role to move materials and finished products through the facility and support production flow. The material handler receives, inspects, stores, and delivers materials to production areas, while maintaining inventory records and preparing finished products for shipment. The role works with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support customer deadlines and a safe, organized workplace.

What you'll do

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials
• verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
• move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
• deliver materials to production work centers
• load and unload trucks
• organize inventory
• record material transactions
• assist with cycle counts and audits
• package finished products for shipment
• maintain a clean, safe work environment.
