What you'll do

• Prepare and feed approved diets
• monitor animal health and behavior
• implement training and enrichment programs
• maintain enclosures and holding areas
• provide preventative husbandry and proactive care
• report signs of illness or injury
• assist with examinations and prescribed treatments
• maintain records and logs
• handle and move animals as required
• give guest presentations and participate in tours, media events, public relations projects, and special events as needed
• help oversee and train interns, volunteers, and seasonal employees.
