Regional Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - $2,000 Annual Education Stipend! is an onsite position in Pleasant Hill, CA, with a salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 per year plus a $2,000 annual education stipend. Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is a growing organization dedicated to providing hope and meaningful work in special education. This role exists to transform the lives of students in Grades K-12 by providing tailored clinical and educational interventions. The Regional BCBA will lead and mentor teams, ensure program quality, and foster an environment where students thrive and achieve lasting success.
What you'll do
- Deliver training and guidance on FBAs and BIPs
- Monitor and evaluate academic instruction and behavioral support services
- Support staff by modeling and enhancing instructional best practices
- Implement evidence-based interventions
- Provide crisis management intervention and support
- Collaborate with on-site education teams
- Conduct quality checks for campuses
- Support on-site teams with training
- Provide guidance and supervision to staff pursuing BACB certification
- Assist in developing improvement plans
- Engage in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Ensure adherence to regulations and internal standards
- Maintain accurate records
- Provide operational support
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field of study.
- Experience
- Prior experience and/or knowledge in providing behavioral support, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting. Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), data-based decision making, functional behavior assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP's). Highly skilled in working with children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and/or other related disabilities. Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, effective teaching strategies, classroom management systems, data-based decision making, working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's). Proven success in developing and implementing effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs. Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals. Prior experience and/or highly skilled in crisis management systems and intervention procedures.
