Senior Data Engineer (Databricks and Cloud Analytics)

The Senior Data Engineer (Databricks and Cloud Analytics) role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, for a six- to twelve-month contract. Pay is $70–$75 per hour. The engineer supports enterprise-scale data solutions for mission-critical business initiatives serving commercial and public sector clients.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise data solutions
• build ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory
• develop data ingestion and integration frameworks, SQL transformations, data models, APIs, and Kafka streaming solutions
• monitor and optimize production pipelines
• apply data quality, governance, security, and performance practices
• collaborate with cross-functional teams
• document solutions
• and mentor junior engineers.
