Social Services Supervisor | Supportive Housing

Job overview

The Social Services Supervisor role is based in Corona, NY. Compensation is $65,000–$69,735 per year. WOMEN IN NEED INC’s Harriet Tubman Supportive Housing program serves families experiencing homelessness and works to support housing stability and independence. The supervisor leads and develops case managers, oversees client-centered and trauma-informed services, and supports compliance and housing outcomes. The role coordinates multidisciplinary case conferences, crisis support, community partnerships, and program operations to help families access housing and related services.

What you'll do

• Supervise, coach, and develop case managers
• lead multidisciplinary teams and case conferences
• provide crisis intervention support
• promote evidence-based practices, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care
• monitor assessments, individualized living plans, records, and service delivery
• audit CARES documentation and client charts
• build community-provider partnerships
• develop workshops and client engagement activities
• support program operations and housing metrics.

Why this role

MSW or related advanced degree preferred with 3–5 years of family or residential social services experience; a bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience is considered. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
