Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Back-End Days, 12-Hour Shifts

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Webster City, IA, with a back-end schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week: every Saturday plus two days between Wednesday and Friday. Pay is $17 per hour. One Vision’s DSPs support people with disabilities in pursuing independence and community connection. The role assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities, personal care, community participation, and other routines. DSPs also support medication procedures, transportation, shopping, personal finances, and electronic documentation, helping people build independence and confidence.

What you'll do

• Support cooking, personal care, laundry, and household tasks
• help individuals build independence and confidence
• accompany people on community outings, activities, appointments, and events
• provide transportation using approved vehicles
• assist with medications according to training and procedures
• support grocery shopping and personal finances
• complete electronic documentation
• build positive relationships with the people supported.
