Single-Certification Paramedic

The Single-Certification Paramedic role is onsite in The Villages, FL, with compensation of $27.18 per hour. The position is part of the Public Safety Department supporting The Villages Community Development Districts and the surrounding community. The paramedic responds to emergency and non-emergency medical incidents, assesses and treats patients during ground transport, and provides basic and advanced life support under medical protocols. The role also supports EMS readiness through training, equipment upkeep, reporting, and public education activities.

What you'll do

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls
• drive emergency vehicles
• provide BLS and ALS care
• communicate by radio and in writing
• maintain apparatus, equipment, buildings, and grounds
• participate in training and public education
• maintain records and reports.
