CNC Operator — Weekend Shift

The CNC Operator — Weekend Shift role is onsite in Ashland, OH. Compensation is not specified; the posting states an additional $2.75 per hour while working this shift. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m., for 36 hours per week. The role supports production at Tahoma Engineered Solutions. The operator maintains and runs CNC machines to produce parts to specification and the production schedule. The work contributes to production quality and efficiency through machine adjustments, inspections, minor setup changeovers, and attention to performance goals.

What you'll do

• Maintain, set up, and operate CNC machines
• make offset adjustments to keep parts within tolerance
• inspect, measure, and record quality checks
• use precision measuring tools
• perform minor setup changeovers
• read drawings and blueprints and understand G and M code
• meet production and quality requirements
• report issues and work toward scrap, rework, labor-efficiency, and downtime goals.
