Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Chico, CA. Pay is $17–$22 per hour. The Work Training Center supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in pursuing their goals, independence, and participation in daily life. The DSP provides person-centered support through individual or group activities, skill-building, and engagement. The role helps participants access programs and activities, tracks progress, and works with colleagues to create a positive and empowering environment.

What you'll do

• Provide person-centered support in one-to-one or group activities
• encourage growth, skill-building, and engagement
• assist with Individual Service Plans
• support creative projects and life-skills workshops
• maintain records and daily case notes
• coordinate and provide transportation to programs and activities
• collaborate with the team.
