The engineer owns architecture and operation of money-critical account and ledger systems, with a focus on correctness, scale, and explainable financial processing. The work spans payment ledgers, insurance and patient account flows, reconciliation, reporting, and operational readiness, while also mentoring senior and staff engineers.

What you'll do

• Design and operate a double-entry payment ledger and account model
• own insurance ledger, posting and adjustment engines, patient account ledgers, bank reconciliation, and accounts receivable reporting
• reconcile charges, remittances, deposits, and reports
• scale idempotent posting pipelines
• operate large PostgreSQL tables with safe migrations, projections, backfills, and incident response
• establish observability and operational readiness
• mentor engineers.
