Assistant Controller

What you'll do

• Oversee accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, payments, and vendor reconciliations
• supervise and support the Accounts Payable team
• monitor invoices, statements, payment schedules, and discrepancies
• coordinate with operations and purchasing to resolve issues
• improve transactional processes
• assist with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger transactions, reporting, and audits
• support internal controls and accounting policies
• provide accounting support at Reedley and Kingsburg facilities as needed.

Why this role

Fully onsite, with flexibility to work at either the Reedley or Kingsburg facility based on operational needs. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience; 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; and prior staff supervision or leadership. Famous Software experience is a plus but not required.
