Technical Email Project Manager

The Technical Email Project Manager works in a hybrid arrangement, onsite three days per week in Richmond, VA. Compensation is $35–$40 per hour. The role coordinates customer-facing digital messaging projects across email, SMS, and push channels. The position manages campaign workflows from planning through launch and post-production, coordinating with creative, marketing, engineering, and other partners. It helps ensure messages are technically sound, approved, quality-checked, documented, and ready for audit while keeping stakeholders informed across concurrent projects.

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end email workflows and multiple concurrent projects
• serve as the primary contact for messaging intents
• partner with copywriters and designers on multichannel messages and creative
• build messages in required systems and coordinate approvals
• organize documentation, confirm technical setups, conduct quality assurance, and monitor post-production
• obtain launch artifacts and approvals
• maintain audit readiness through Legal, Risk, Compliance, and process controls
• communicate project status to stakeholders.
