What you'll do

• Prepare menu items using standardized recipes
• review menus, resident census information, and production guides to determine food quantities
• follow safe food-handling requirements
• assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as assigned
• prepare modified-consistency and diet foods
• prepare special-function meals
• monitor and record food temperatures
• maintain food storage, labeling, and kitchen cleanliness
• meet meal schedules
• refer menu changes or substitutions for supervisor or dietitian approval.
