Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

Job overview

The Fire Sprinkler Service Technician role is onsite in Baltimore, MD, with compensation of $40–$50 per hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The position services commercial fire sprinkler systems for existing customers. The role maintains fire protection readiness by troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing sprinkler systems and related components. It also documents service work and communicates system conditions and repair needs to customers; participation in an on-call rotation is required as needed.

What you'll do

• Respond to service calls for commercial fire sprinkler systems
• troubleshoot system issues and identify deficiencies or needed repairs
• service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges, and related components
• maintain wet and dry systems and work with pre-action systems when applicable
• perform fire pump testing and service when required
• complete service reports
• communicate system conditions and completed work
• maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
