The Class A CDL Tractor Trailer Driver is an onsite role based in Shelton, CT. 00 to $25.00 per hour, and this position supports the waste and recycling operations team at Interstate Waste Services. This role exists to safely operate tractor trailers for the transport of municipal and commercial waste between local transfer stations and rail yards. The driver ensures cargo security, performs equipment inspections, and maintains compliance with all DOT and OSHA safety regulations while providing professional service to customers.

What you'll do

• Operate tractor trailers in compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations
• perform pre- and post-route vehicle inspections
• secure containers and contents
• monitor equipment for repair needs
• communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
• report all incidents or accidents immediately.
