Tool and Die Technician

The Tool and Die Technician role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. Pay is up to $21 per hour, based on experience. The position is with a large manufacturing company. What you'll do

• Replace or rework worn, broken, or chipped tool elements
• inspect dies and molds for wear, cracks, or dull edges and clean or replace damaged components
• set up and operate CNC machines
• diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues on the production floor
• resolve tooling issues during mold runs
• inspect incoming molds
• change mold tools
• assemble tools and ensure shot-offs match
• read technical drawings and use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
